Oh Baby Mine was on TV back in February. The video is posted on the webpage www.ohbabymine.weebly.com. If you would like to see me in that video & learn a little about me & what it is I do it would be good to watch. Since that appearance more things have been added to Oh Baby Mine & I would like to talk about those things & let the people of the Rockford area know about how they can benefit from our services like the 5 hour stays (day or overnight), the rentals we offer, and the great Motherlove products that I sell. So watch the video on the webpage now. Plan to see me again on TV August 7 at 9am on channel 23.
As sent to me by a patient of mine:
Lisa has been such a wonderful help to my son and I on our breastfeeding journey. She has been a great source of help often times late at night or on the weekends. Since of course you never have trouble during someone's business hours. :). But never once did I feel like I was a burden to her. She has went above and beyond to give me resources, information and tools to help each issue. Also her rental retail area has been awesome and has saved us a lot of money since I was able to rent and find out some things weren't for us instead of wasting our money on a purchase. She is passionate about what she does and will stand in your corner when you're ready to give up she is the encouraging voice you'll need to hear to remind yourself why you started this breastfeeding thing to begin with :). I can't say enough good!! Sara~ Poplar Grove, IL [Last edited Apr 14, 2013] Both my children were born in the Summer (my son was born just at the end of Spring but it was hot already).
I would say Summer is the best time to have a baby. It's nice weather to take out the stroller & you don't have to bundle up the baby so much. I actually was able to choose the time my kids were born (not an easy thing to do but easy for me). My company, as most, was very slow in the Summer. It just relieved some of my anxiety about missing so much work. I was the only artist at my company so I was able to make things a little easier for them. This is just my opinion. If you have any good stories about when your babies were born I would love to hear them. Have a great & safe Summer. Yes, Oh Baby Mine was on the Andy & Aaron Morning Blend this morning. So glad you are here & would love to hear from you. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to get in contact with me. You can send a contact through this webpage & I can answer you by email, you can call me at the phone number on the pages. I usually get back to you within a hour an hour. Appointments can be made & I can see you same day or next day. Pumps are available for rental day or night. Our Motherlove is for sale. If you are local you don't have to pay shipping if you'd like to pick it up (the price would be $4 less for you). PLEASE keep in touch with our Facebook page, we are always doing something special!
So your new parents, Congratulations! The first night home from the hospital, not too bad. You probably had some visitors or helpers so you could settle in & people could come & see your new bundle.
Now, it's the second night & everyone's gone. Baby's fussy, crying & your not sure why. This is totally normal. Baby realizes they are in another different place. Your tense, dads tense, so now baby is even more tense. On top of it you are Tired (with a capital T). If this happens stay calm! Feed as best as you can. Try the side lying position (have dad help of course). If you find this is too hard to handle right away Oh Baby Mine can be called for help. We do overnight stays so parents can rest & relax. We here at OBM are licensed medical professionals. We will help notice baby is hungry & bring baby to you with a clean diaper. This makes a great gift (especially from grandparents). We'd love to help! Congratulations if you have just had a baby especially for you new moms. As we move into 2013 we see tons of new gadgets, devices, tablets, smartphones & ABM (artificial baby milk) that is supposed to be like breastmilk. Our bodies were designed for maximum efficiency. In most cases a woman can nurse her baby quite well. She may need a consultation or a hospital grade breast pump rental. We are always happy to help with any issues that arise from having a new baby & breastfeeding. Please visit my website to see what's available. Happy New Year & God Bless!
Please feel free to post questions about breast feeding. If they can be answered quickly in the blog I will post an answer. If they are more complex I would be happy to set up an appointment either in my office or on the phone.
